PRP is a Natural Effective Anti-Ageing Treatment

PRP stimulates collagen and elastin production, which in turn thickens and tightens thinning skin, helping to heal the skin in so many ways, many of which have already been listed. As PRP stimulates the production of collagen, it’s also a great treatment for improving overall skin texture and tone. PRP uses your own body’s natural resources without the addition of any foreign bodies, such as botulinum toxin found in Botox. The treatment needs to be administered by a qualified clinical therapist, who will take a sample of your blood, having firstly applied an anaesthetic.  This blood is then separated to extract the magic ingredient plasma, this extraction is achieved through spinning the blood in a centrifuge for approximately five minutes The platelet-rich plasma is then injected into areas of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.  It is worth noting that again that PRP can only be completed by a qualified professional, as it is an advanced treatment.
